Head over to the Amazon 5000 website where you can follow Mickey Grosman’s trail. He is tracing the El Dorado Voyage of 1541 led by Francisco de Orellana, who did not complete the extent of this trek. The expedition kicked off on May 19th.
Mickey will traverse 800 miles over the Andes, then 4200 miles down the Amazon River!! The adventure is expected to take at least 9 months. Watershed has outfitted Mickey with a variety of our gear to help make his voyage a success.
For details, information, how to support Mickey and much more please check out the site!!

TrulyOutdoors Watershed Review
See ya on the water!
Our Brand Manager, Justyn Thompson, met up with Angela Schiavone from Examiner.com at MacWorld 2012. After checking our some of our staple products and some new, Justyn sent Angela off with an Ocoee and a Grid to get her take on our bags. Here is her write up about the Ocoee and the ways in which she benefits from Watershed’s legendary waterproof seal.
At the 2012 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada we talk with hundreds of people, and you never know what will come from conversations and sales. This year we had great reviews of some of our newer products, such as the Clutch and the Grid, but also reviews of our staple products.
The Ocoee has been around since the beginning of Watershed, and we are always thrilled to hear how new people are getting along with their new-found waterproof, submersible gear.
Here is a brief write up from Jim Shepherd over at The Outdoor Wire, scroll down about half way to reach the part about Watershed’s Ocoee duffel:
Watershed has had a great debut at Mac World 2012!! Here is the Managing Editor over at Cult of Mac, Tracy Dauphin, and what she has to say about Watershed’s GRID tablet bag.
